Topic: Clearing the search database

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Excuse me but I'm new and my wiki searches aren't turning up anything useful. I'm sure i'm doing something wrong. I'd like to clear the search database all at once without having to select each drive.

your thoughts?

see 5 database

I assume you're referring to ...

Database - Choose “Remove missing files from Search DB” to clean the Search Database from files that no longer exist.

I'd like to remove ALL files from the database, even if they do exist

thanks for the support

Remove from search db will only remove them from searches, it will not clear the database.
If that is what you are looking for, you could type "*" in the search field to show all tracks, then select them all and right-click remove from search db.
