Hello All,
I am running vdj8 on a windows 7 machine. Have been for a long time. I do a weekly broadcast in Second Life via a shoutcast stream. Never had any problems at all. All of a sudden this past week I started getting and error That says "impossible to connect to server".
My first thought was that my stream was down, However when I tried to connect to a friends stream on a different service I got the same message. Other than some windows updates I havent changed anything on my pc. I am running norton 360 so my windows firewall is disabled. I made sure vdj was approved.
I also keep an older copy of vdj7 on my machine as a back up. I couldnt stream there either. same message.
Any Ideas or thoughts?

probably would work better if you bought a license and updated to the latest version 8.2
home users can't broadcast on shoutcast and icecast servers

No I actually have a pro version. I bought the lic used. Like I said everything worked fine up until this week. So unless VDJ sent out something that is killing the broadcast ability of slightly older versions there has to be a better solution.

Licenses can't be sold or transferred.

The licence can't be transferred and also can't be updated as you are not the original owner with site access.
Most software can change it's protocols in updated versions so unfortunately you may be stuck.
Maybe you should contact the seller and advise them of this.
