Topic: Major issues with Denon MC600MK2

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi Im having major issues with my Dennon Mc600MK2 in VDJ8.1. Mapping is fine. Sound is shocking, theres a few seconds lag when I load a track. Its stooped displaying the bpm's in the search or file etc, and when it does display some there are way to high in the 300's and it won't play videos, they play but are virtually un viewable, not sure if they too dark or not fully faded in. I have read all the links, I have the latest denon firmware and I'm running the correct Denon asio driver with no previous versions on the laptop I have also checked all the settings which as far as i can see are correct. My laptop is running windows 10 and has nothing else installed, its optimised and is a 3rd gen I7 that far exceeds the required spec. can any one please help before i switch products.

try using the WASAPI driver instead of ASIO. I have had nothing but problems with the asio drivers

Have you recently updated your OS to Windows 10 ?
Please try to update the drivers of the video card as well to the latest available.

huge issues using wasapi, have tried all configurations. volume on full all the time on deck 2 regardless of fader but nothing at all on deck 3. headphones work on deck 2 but not deck 3 or everything at full volume all the time regardless and no headphones, so can't seem to configure wasapi at all.
Computer was recently upgraded to windows 10 but all the drivers say they are up to date, also fully optimised.

windows 10 only uses windows drivers and i bet those are up to date but if you want the real deal you will need to go to manufacturer websites for your components and get the updates that way then you will really be up to date.

after my windows 10 update i did this for all my components and haven't had any hardware related issues at all.

1) Even if you use WASAPI drivers you still need to install the ASIO drivers of the unit on your system
2) Make sure you use "Master & Headphones" on your sound setup
3) For WASAPI make sure that you have the soundcard of MC6000MK2 configured as "Quadraphonic" (4 speakers) on Windows Sound Panel
