Hi everyone,
It has been a long time since I've been here.
Let me jump right with my question.
History:
I've been using VDJ since version 6 and do love it.
Since I didn't do clubs, I saw I need of a skin with gave me what I need right-a-way.
I found what I needed in VDJ "Condensed" skin. In time I adjusted a few things fairly easily.
Here is where I get to my question.
With the new VDJ 8 Re-Condensed skin adjusting the code very easy however.
In trying to fix (to what I need) in the png file I found a couple of small problems.
--- I found in saving the file that I got the a few of the symbol getting a white background. Without doing any but just saving I got the same issue.
I use Microsoft "Paint" to create and adjust the skin colors and symbols.
--- The second problem I found with VDJ 8 Re-Condensed skin and not with any of the older versions was. The symbols used the audio and video are no longer seen if I change the symbol in anyway. The green star still is seen and my replacement Red Square works fine but the music note and film strip symbols are no longer seen.
What do I need to use to adjust my symbols because "Paint" doesn't work anymore.

Use a transparency-capable software, such as GiMP.
And the icon index as changed in v8 to this one :

To my knowledge you must include the icons in your png file, but I may be wrong...

Thanks for your response Fruit.
I have been holding off using the VDJ 8 because they hadn't recreated this skin yet.
The new recreated skin is, in many ways, better but for those few adjustment I need and want.
I love being able to adjust the text size on the fly... :)
I've download GiMP and soon I'll see if I can adjust the few symbols with it.
Right now I'm still learning VDJ 8 and I want to make sure I know and understand it all before going live.

Wow, Thanks Again Fruit.
Not only was it easier to work with than Paint it was also fun...
I was easily able to add a couple things to the png I needed and wanted.
