Topic: Denon MC6000 4 deck

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

How do I get the gain and eqs to work in the 4 deck mode? They actually move in the software, but there is no change.

You need different mappers for external and software (4 deck) mode. Check the mapping isn't using "fake" commands for EQ, volume etc.

I have two completely separate ones. It's confusing.

I confuse easily so can you point me in the direction of a mapper that has eq and gain function for 4 deck? As stated, the software controls move with the hardware, they just don't do anything. I am able to use the channel and cross fader controls ( I disable cross fader) so I am able to mix, but I need gain and eq.

No one uses 4 decks with the MC6000? Over 500 views, and no help for a brother?

Sorry Rick, I'm on holiday in Spain and don't have a laptop with me to look at my mappers. Will get in touch with you when I get home on Thursday if no one else has solved it by then.

I'm using it with 4 decks configuration, with VDJ 7 and now with VDJ 8.1 since 4 years ago, and I don't have any issue with gain and/or eq.
I think you already tried with default Denon DN-MC6000 mapper, so maybe an issue with hardware.
Did you try to change the USB cable ? And the USB port ? And on another computer ?
What software interface you are using (Denon ASIO, ASIO4All or WDM) ?

But if your mapper is set for external control it works differently, hence my comment about needing rwo completely separate mappers depending on the controller config.

I had the same problem. Worked fine on 7.X and 8.0 then after an update from 8.X to 8.X (I can't keep up with the auto updates) I lost EQs and Volume knobs. I did a reinstall and it fixed the problem.

Can someone post their audio config for 4 deck? I can use any drivers except ASIO4ALL.
