Topic: Distorted sound

Greetings:
I occasionally experience a distorted sound during music peaks. This does not happen all the time.
Any ideas?

PIoneer DDJ-SZ
Dell XPS i7 6 g ram (older model)
VDJ8
JBL LSR305 plus sub

Wonder if I should add some additional RAM?

I don't how how experienced you are, or how much you know about setting up audio systems, but based on what you've said, you're probably just using too much gain and overloading the equipment.

What are your VDJ autogain and zerodb settings? Are your DDJ-SZ VU meters running at or below the 0dBmark?
 
I will check out thous settings
