Topic: Does anyone use vdj8 yo chop and screw.

In the old version of vdj. You can set the beat skip to 1 button of ur choice in the config page. How would i do that in vdj8.

Im aware of that. But i had a different way of doing it in old version. Where i would set the skipbeat value to +1 on right key and-1 on the left. It enabled me to chop ot perfectly. With a hit of a key stroke. But there is no skip beat in the new version?
 
It should still be there, check the mapping and look for what button(s) it/they are.
 
Yeah i went into config. I searched to find it. I dont see skip beat.. I see repeat and some others bit no skip beat

Does anyone else have difficultly adding music to their virtual DJ folders? I recently updated to a Mac Book Pro. I am trying to load my music onto Virtual Dj and add songs to my individual folders but for some reason its not saving the songs I'm dragging from my external hard drive.
 
What format is your external hdd? Ntfs? exFat? Fat32?
 
like CHOP AND SCREW with the music SLOW ? if so I tried it with key lock off and it didn't sound like Dj Screw sound.
