Topic: 2nd sound card no sound.

I'm running 8.1 on a Windows 10 laptop and previously had no issues running a dual sound card setup but now wont get sound out of the headphone channel whether is the internal or external card. Any ideas. Suspect changed after the latest update.

The second sound card only has 2 channels, but you are trying to send the sound to channels 3&4.
You should send it to channels 1&2 of the second sound card.
 
Simple mistake but caused me hours of grief while setting up for a party in a couple of days so thanks very much!
