Hi everyone,
I use Virtual DJ to my karaoke shows, and lately i'm trying to use a 4 deck skin but i'm noticing that when I have two videos on leftside decks (1 & 3) , for example, I have to manually select the left video output. The same occurs on the rightside decks.
Is there any way to manage a script that could auto assign the sidedeck when I play one deck if the other one isn't playing?

There are 4 buttons on each side of the Video Crossfader in the 4 Decks Default skin (VIDEO panel) which you can use to manually select which deck will be selected as Left and Right sides/decks for the video
The actions used are leftvideo and rightvideo
Some examples that you can use for keyboard/controller shortcuts..
deck 1 leftvideo ? deck 3 leftvideo : deck 1 leftvideo (toggle left decks as left-side-video decks)
deck 2 rightvideo ? deck 4 rightvideo : deck 2 rightvideo (toggle right decks as right-side-video decks)
for a button that exists on both sides on a controller, you can use..
device_side 'left' ? deck 1 leftvideo ? deck 3 leftvideo : deck 1 leftvideo : deck 2 rightvideo ? deck 4 rightvideo : deck 2 rightvideo
The action leftvideo 'auto' or rightvideo 'auto' brings back the automatic way (auto-selected depending on which deck is left or right selected)
Alternatively, you can use just the Volume faders and ignore the video crossfader by using this Video transition : http://www.virtualdj.com/plugins/index.html?category=2&filter=16&search=multisquares
