Hi guys just joined, I'm looking for some help, I have always used my 1210s and cdj800 mk1's but I have a lot of music on my computer, I have a behringer ddm4000 and I am wondering if it's possible to use vdj with my cdjs and ddm4000, I must say I am clueless when it comes to the digital side if things so any help would be appreciated, thanks again guys

The gear you mention is all analogue gear - as in not directly built to control a computer.
But with a special computer signal on vinyl or CD (called timecode signal) - you can easily use them to control VirtualDJ.

All you would need to invest in is a soundcard, that at least two stereo in / out so that you can connect analogue sources so that the computer (and VirtaulDJ) can hear the signal from your gear. This way VirtualDJ will instantly react to scratching, pitch changes, play, stop etc etc that you do on your turntables or CD player.
The timecode vinyls you would have to buy. Around 10-15$ ish.
Either the VirtualDJ type http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html (bottom of this page) or most other brands are also supported. For example Serato vinyls from local dj store/guitar center etc.

If you want to 'play' Virtual DJ from your CDJs then the only way to do it (as they have no USB) is to use timecode CDs.
You would then require a suitable audio interface to get the timecode signals from the CDJs into Virtual DJ, and the music out from Virtual DJ to your mixer.
This would require an interface with two stereo inputs and two stereo outputs e.g. MixVibes U-MIX 44.

See my updated post above for a budget option.
You would also need a timecode license for Virtual DJ ($150) but that would be for home use only.
For pro use you'd need either the monthly subscription license (which allows use of VDJ Pro) or to buy VDJ Pro outright.
