Topic: Weird issue with First Seen column

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

So today I added a bunch of new tracks on my hard drive. When I opened up V7, about half of the new tracks I added showed up and had the proper time (3 minutes ago, etc). The other half had a weird date which was 2000/2/20. So it had the right day and month but the year was wrong.

When I opened up V8, the field with all the new tracks was blank.

I looked at the file settings and details inside the hard drive and the date was correct on all of them. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing the weirdness with that column field?

I made sure I added all the track's to the search DB and analyzed them as well for BPM and Key. The issue remained.

I guess you didn't catch the bulletin. There was a recent update to VDJ 7 which rectified a known issue with years greater than 2015.

I didnt see that. Thanks! I'll update now. Any ideas why the date wasnt showing up in V8.1? I have the latest and greatest build.
 
Usually on V8 only time shows up on recently added tracks( added the same day)
tracks less than 6 month show up with month/day/time
tracks more than 6 month added show up with year/month/day
