I have a wav file that plays fine outside of VDJ, but when I play it in VDJ it's just a load of fuzz. I've tried deleting and re-adding the file, deleting the track info from the database, 'checking' and 'cleaning' the database from within the VDJ settings. It's still not working.
I added a bunch of other wav files at the same time and they all work fine. I'd previously renamed the problematic file, so that could be the issue. But I returned it to the original name and cleared its database info so it should be fine. Any ideas?

48khz sample rate, playing fine here

I guess a sample rate is not the same thing as a bit rate then.
As I said, it plays fine in everything except VDJ. I'm using VDJ7. Do I need to do anything else to remove all trace of the track from VDJ?

VirtualDj 7 won't play files with sample rate bigger than 44100.
VirtualDj 8 does...
