Topic: Connect Virtual DJ to Skype?

Hi. I have read on other posts that you can connect your Skype through to your Virtual DJ programme - and wanted to reply but do not have access privilege to post so will ask here, apologies if you have already responded on the other post.

I am using a Mac laptop, with a Yeti microphone. I have an online radio show, playing pre-recorded telephone conversations and songs. It would be great to have the Skype option for 'live' calls. I do not have the multitude of additional sound cards as read on a previous post, merely wondering whether you techno-savvy peeps knew of a simple setting change to allow this to happen? Really appreciate your help with this thanks.

I use an iPhone/iPad for the skype calls. I run the audio to an input on my sound card as an Aux/Line-in to my audio settings. I then enable the aux on a deck. If it's video, then I use a separate computer. I put that output into a capture card. I then use the camera input for the video and the audio the same as above.

If it is just audio, and you have two sound cards, you can set skype to use one card as an output, then input into the other. For example, I can have skype on my internal laptop soundcard. I then cable from that to an input on my Audio 6 interface. Then map the input as listed above.
