Forum: General Discussion

Topic: Streaming services and their legality.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

When Grooveshark' issues caused problems for the Content Unlimited service a little bit back, the forum had a lot of activity and opinions. Between people asking for integration with other services like Spotify, Amazon, iTunes, etc.

I've found an interesting article regarding the current lawsuit with Spotify. What I like is this article explains a little more information on licensing. My own personal views are that one should build their own collection from a pool or purchases, and use the streaming for music exploration and to cover requests. I thought I would share the article and see some other views.
