Topic: Denon DJ MCX8000 and Numark NV

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I know anything can be mapped and a little upset with both Numark and Denon DJ for not putting the VDJ Logo on respective units however thsee 2 I am really digging... Does anyone know if they will be or already natively supported? ??

Numark NV is supported.
As for the Denon, it is not out yet. So no one knows.

The NV works fine, the 8000 is still yet to be mapped, however I would image either a base mapping or fully functional mapping to be available in the product by the time the unit hits the shelves in late Feb/early March.

I already have an 8000 on pre-order and will have one of the first production ones that hits the US. (I'm first in line at one of the latest distributors here in the US.)

I along with the VDJ staff are 100% committed to getting this controller fully usable within VDJ and making the experience awesome. You can mark my words on that!

Thanks for the vote of confidence.... This is the main reason why I used VDJ...

I was told by someone from Numark Industries they would not openlying say they would support NV under VDJ and that scared Me.....

Right now due to the NV only having 1 mic pre I am leaning towards the 8000.... It looks killer....

Wow, that's a lot of confidence. This is what I know. VDJ will try to map this as soon as they get their hands on one. Most likely, Denon will work with them. There is a possibility that they won't, at first anyway. This could lead to some functions not working 100%. I like the initial looks and specs of this controller, but will not buy it or anything else unless I know for sure, that it's fully supported. It's not like they only made 10, what's the rush?

We also have a thread open about this controller, so let's keep the conversation there.
