Topic: Pioneer DDJ-SX2 Faceplate

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have a dent in my faceplate. Does anyone know if it's replaceable? I'm not going to send it in for such a minor thing because I can/t be without it.
I'd like to buy one and replace it myself.

Ask Pioneer?

Pioneer says $250. There's no way it should cost that much.

Use a Styleflip skin to cover it. Put a sticker over it. Fill it with resin.

I bet they will replace the entire jog, not just the faceplate!
Like car mirrors where if you brake the glass of it you need to buy the entire mirror

The faceplate is a separate part, nothing to do with the jogs. I have had my plate off for cleaning and it can be taken off completely on its own.

Ooops.
For some strange reason I thought the Jog faceplate (touch surface) not the entire unit's faceplate.
It must be because it was almost 3:00 AM local time when I read this.

Funny you should mention that George, I have a couple of scratches on my jogs (the silver plates). They seem to get damaged very easily and I have been very careful with the controller.
