Topic: PLZ HELP.. URGENT.. MY LEFT DECK/JOG WON'T RESPOND!

I'm using a Pioneer DDJ-SX2 and previously had control of the left deck. I was able to "Scratch" and manipulate tracks (via the jog) like normal, until just recently. Neither my mouse pointer, my touch screen, or my controller will allow me to scratch on deck A. The sides of the jogs on my controller still allow "nudging" or speeding up and slowing down like usual though. The RIGHT DECK works just fine, like normal. Can Anyone help? I can't find any solution while browsing through the options/configuration tabs. It seems like it would be just an on/off type of selection from somewhere. I am using v8.1 as of now. (This problem occurred prior to this update.) I use the VDJ 7 two deck skin.

VDJ 8.1
Windows 8
Sony Vaio !3.5" ,8G RAM, 8GB SSD, 500GB HD

Enable Vinyl mode for the deck that's not working.
SHIFT+SLIP button on SX2
 
Be sure that you don't have enabled some skid or brake effect on this deck.
