I am using Virtual DJ 8.1 (but it also had this issue on 8.0) with a Rane 64 Mixer connected via usb. Periodically the sound will drop and I have to go to sound setup and click apply for the music to come back on. It drops while live at least 3 times a gig. Any ideas?

Is it possible that there is a USB cable issue? Mac or PC even thought it should not matter? Whatever the issue is, please get it fixed before you play in public.
