I'm sure this has been asked for a hundred times now ......
The ability to right click any folder / playlist / history file / filter folder etc. and have the ability to export.
PDF > The folder with the information available in your browser view.
CSV/XLS > All database info which can then be filtered as necessary.
Users can then use this for karaoke lists, database of their music for prospective clients or for situations where you have to provide a list of played music for licencing.
Please, no plugins. This should be part of the main .exe for everyone to use easily. BPM Studio had this simple function to export to XLS back in 2000 ......
Thank you.

Any feedback on this?
If it's a definite no just say so.

Your request is noted :)

So what does that actually mean Scott. Is it on the development list?
Please, I can't handle the smileys. It was bad enough with Rune doing it all the time and now we have two :)

You used one, so that's three! I'm sure we can look into adding something along these lines, but you know we never usually say for definite if/when something will appear.

Why not a Plugin ? Is it part of a regular live performance ?

Easily and intuitively being able to export list data to a user friendly
format is a Very Good Idea. And, yes, this has been asked before
in various different ways. I asked for this last year with no response
from Staff, so the idea is now, at least, getting their attention.

I would really like to have this option added to VitualDJ.
Posted Thu 09 Jun 16 @ 8:16 pm
It's in version 8.2
You can export any view (playlist/folder/history/etc) to CSV or HTML instantly. Click the button and select "export browser view"

Is there a way to show the time a song was played?
Or can it be implemented on a future update?

Just add "last play" as a browser column and it will show. The play time at the end of history folders isn't included by default.
Posted Fri 10 Jun 16 @ 12:46 pm
As above - the browser export will export exactly what you see in your browser using the visible columns and the sort order. This means you can export all sorts of information - folder, playlist, history, karaoke history, ask the dj, search results, pretty much anything!

Got it thanks

Nice, however say you have 1000 songs in your playlist but you need a selected few by using this export browser view. How would you do that? I tried to move some songs to sidelist and bring this sidelist to view and hope this few would be sent as a excel file but just the original 1000 songs are sent again.
