is it just me or is vdj8 just so damn hard to set up.running 7,4 all mapped ect and never a hitch.
trying to practice with 8 and cant even get cue to set a cue point.just seems way to much involved to plug and play like 7.
so many different menus ect to go through to get even simple solutions.
i know im not pc genius but why make it more complicated.

It took a long time for 7.4 to get where it is now. It did not just start there.

but way to much hudden areas to set up like i have now.
i do karaoke also and vdj8 just not good enough.
any chance of getting the sound engine and sample banks into a rick solid 7.4 version

VDJ 8 is a demanding program because of its adaptability.
Being able to customize VDJ 8 makes it the best DJ software in the world, that is in my eyes.
It can get a little hard to use to its maximum capabilities.
There is no need to purse a complex path should you not wish.
I want all those hidden menu's.
The VDJ 8 sound engine is excellent, I do karaoke, and don't have any problems in that area.

Not good enough? Could you please describe a bit better please. Do you mean soundquality compared to 7.4 ?

i dont mean not good enough ie software ect.
took long enough for me ti get my set up to where i dont need to spend every night setting up different menus ect.i plug and play my controllers/soundcards karaoke ects and never a bother.
tried using 8 at hone and the set up ridiculos.
listen im an avid user of only vdj years now and only software ill ever use.
as i said before not all if us can set up stuff every night as not possible so getting to grips with vdj8 is harder for lines of middle aged men like me lol
