Hi,
Since VirtualDJ 8 we have the TEXT plugin in both Windows and MAC versions. It is on EFFECTS --- VISUALIZATIONS --- TEXT. Click on the gear aside the effect on the list or press "+" or GUI to get the text box open.
You need to apply your text or options to the text box and also ACTIVATE the effect to display it on the screen.
VirtualDJ 8.1 has this as well.
