Topic: To match a video clip with a song

Hi from France,
And first, sorry for my poor English...
I use VDJ8 since few days.
I like put video to the songs when I do a set.
With VDJ7, it was simple to do, but impossible to have the sound correctly associated to the video : not the same duration between the sound and the video, different bpm, etc...
With VDJ8, we are able to add video to a song and adjust them.
The problem is that we don't have any counter into the video editor, so it's difficult to have a good result.
You can have a good synchronization at start, but in the middle of the song it appear some delays.
Is it possible to help me ?

V8 has now the option to link a video with a mp3 via drag&drop ( similar to V7 but much better improved )
make sure you have videoCreatLinkOnDrop set to YES.
Load a mp3 file into a deck
drop a videofile into the video preview window ---> done
the new link function syncs as far as possible, loops if necessary and fit both trackts quite good to each other.
just give it a try

I know this solution.
But sometimes, i think that VDJ cuts to many times the video, with to many loops, and with no synchronization between the audio and the video (mouth of the singer).
So I try to add video in manual mode, but i don't know if it's possible to change the speed of the video or if it's only possible to cut it ???

In 'Video Overlays' you can select the video and select 'Stretch', then you can adjust the length by dragging the edges
 
This function modifies the lenght of the video without cutting the start and the end ?
So the video is read faster or slower, right ?
In this case, it is what I want !!
