Even in the Native VDJ8 skin, I am unable to open/select the Browser, Sampler, Effects, and Record buttons in the main screen. Can't click or double-click them to open...hovering over them doesn't highlight them differently.... ...help. :P

This is because you are using a VDJ 7 skin in VDJ 8.
Those tabs were used for navigating in VDJ 7, but access to those areas/functions in VDJ 8 does not require the tabs.
