I recently moved from my house to an apartment for school. I brought my DJ setup and everything was fine at my house but now on a laptop, the volume sliders don't seem to work. Everything else seems to be in order but volume doesn't change the volume. It's slightly noticeable when going from 100 to 0 but the music is still playing at essentially the same volume when the slider is at 0. The controller isn't broken since it registers on the laptop and shows the slider moving up and down. Which also means it probably isn't soft take over. Can anyone help? I'm running Windows 8 VDJ v7 with a Numark Mixtrack Basic. Using a DJ y cable. Thanks a lot.

Maybe you have to adjust the CUE/MIX slider?
