Is it possible to keep VDJ 7 on pc when using VDJ 8 while at first few gigs so that if any issues arise i could revert back to VDJ 7.
Basically keep VDJ7 as a software backup for first month of using version 8?

Yes, they don't interfere with each other at all, and the first time you open V8 it will clone your current V7 database to create a V8 one. The two databases will then be completely separate.
