Had 2 crashes last night and there is no crash report in the crash log.
System was not connected to internet.
Using windows 10 with laptop & VMS2 on a pc with VDJ8.
This was tested before using at an event.
Used this setup 3 times at events without problems.
First crash music just stopped, rebooted and everything was okay.
Second crash again music just stopped. Rebooted and it did nothing.
I had the backup laptop (Windows 7 pc VDJ 8) plugged in to the back of the unit
and setup for analog. Moved the switched from USB to analog. That did not work.
Changed the backup over to USB reconnecting to USB port. Changed
settings back to VMS2; but in audio setting, it would not get it to accept the VMS2.
Finally after quite a few tries, the settings were accepted and it was okay for rest of evening.
Any ideas?

I recently experienced something similar... Did you try switching out your USB cable? My USB (best guess) kept losing connection with my DDJ-SZ causing it to shutdown the music restart music and drop out crazy stuff. I'm testing mine out now.

It's been fine since since. Could have been the update from Windows 10 that corrected the problem.
