Topic: Oddity with karaoke

Hi folks. I have just been gearing up for doing Karaoke shows using Virtual DJ (Release 8). Today I was noticing that when I turned down the volume using the Gain slider, it was also controlling the brightness of the Karaoke monitor.

What's that all about? How do I configure the system to not do that?

Hmm Gains should not change brightness but Volume faders will if the setting VideoVolumeLink is set to Yes (default value)

Are you using any particular controller and Gains are set to adjust Volume ?

That's what it was (the option). I was using the volume faders on Virtual DJ (I don't own controllers) and was being affected by that option.
