Is there away to search multiple folders simultaneously in the search field? example 90's, Hip Hop, R&B Dance

When you do search VDJ does search your entire database.
 
Yes, if i only type in 90's hip hop all 90's hip hop will show same for any other genre and decade. But if I want multiple decades or generes it won't show everything, and I only have 150-250 songs per folder on that drive.
 
If you have your media tagged with the year and the genre, you can create a smart filter that will look for a certain genre and year range. Or a few genre's and year range. Or file paths that only look in certain file system folders with certain genres and certain years.

The filtering can get pretty extensive
