Thanks for the tips Loco but that's too much work for me, I honestly don't think I should have to go through that just to keep an fx's button selected.
I really gonna have to sit down this weekend and run through my pros n cons with this software anymore.....

Dude I wasn't talking to you, Your problem was multiple instances on several decks, I'm surprised it took so long for any one to notice. If your FX changes aren't saving it is most likely that you have the FX slotted on several decks, the other option is open your non-saving fx on every deck and set them all to the same setting.
Figuring out why it wasn't saving was the hard bit, the solution is easy.
