This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi there,

I’ve recently purchased a Hercules RMX2 controller. I’m running it with Virtual DJ 7 LE. All functions seem to running perfectly OK except for the treble eq. When playing a track and I kill both bass and mids I should be just left with the tops / treble. However all that is left with is a very faint slightly crackly top end sound with I need to turn up quite a lot to hear at all. I’ve tried a variety of tracks. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled both the VDJ and RMX drivers to no avail. It’s the same on both decks. Has anyone come across this issue before?

Thanks

Darren

I'm not sure if the option is there in LE, but later versions of VDJ 7 allow you to alter the EQ frequencies.

Your high EQ is probably set to a freq which your files (MP3s?) contain very little of. The lower the bit rate of the files, the less likely it is that very high frequencies will be present.
