Topic: Help with miditrace

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm struggling trying to let miditrace ask my Korg KP3+ for its sysex id.
But all I get in return is F8 00 00 00 all over the screen.
It should look like: sysexid="F07E??0602427800000000000002F7" (this example taken from KP3 mapping by cioce)

Anyone know what I do wrong?

With Midi-ox I was able to read out the sysex id.
