Topic: Maximum amount of samples 12? VDJ7

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I find the number of 12 a very small amount of samples possible to use in VDJ7.
Is there a way to extend the number of playable samples through MIDI?

EDIT:
I downloaded the application but could not find info IF this four bank system is compatible with VDJscript so I can really change bank from controller?
 
Try using the learn button in mapping,

you can load samples via script, take a look at V7 verbs page, I think it's something like

sampler X load "M:\file.mp3"

Where X is the sample slot

VirtualDJ 8 allows for a maximum of 64 Samples per bank with an infinite number of banks.

Aha! Aha! This means I do not need the "sampler48" dll then?
 
It's probably better using the dll as it makes changing samples within banks easier.
