Topic: VDJ 7 and MixVibes U-Mix44

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi everybody,

I tried to use the MixVibes Interface with VDJ 7 and got it working with timecodes (vinyl).
But when I want to bypass the timecode decoding the sound volume is too low. In the MixVibes software it is possible to
set the input level to phono so that the preamp is activated on the interface.

But I can´t find any option like this in VDJ. Isn´t this possible or is their any I´ve not seen?

Thanks for any answer.

Regards
Stefan

have you downloaded the drivers for the umix 44? there is a control panel included with the download that allows you to increase the input volume

Yes, I tried the control panel. But this is also only on line level. There is no switch for Phono input. :-(

umix 44 does not have a phono preamp that is why you only have line level

But how is this realized in MixVibes? Because there is a switch for Phono.

OK. Maybe I found a partial solution. In RipVinyl it is possible to enable the software RIAA preamp. So hopefully it´s a very simple question...how do I enable it in VDJ 7?
