Wondering is there are any others out there still running the VDJ 7.0 and the Numark Mixdeck Express. Just bought the Numark and it connects to VDJ easy enough.
Everything seems to work OK, except when I press the Loop In and OUT buttons on the Mixdeck Express, they don't quite seem to grab the loop well. Loop IN seems to have about a 1/4 beat delay and the Loop OUT button doesn't work all the time, as well as RELOOP.
I'm thinking maybe a MIDI mapping glitch?
When I do it from my laptop screen, directly off VDJ, it works perfectly.
Any tips will be appreciated.

is that a used unit ? I dont recall anything similar reported, and the mapping files seem OK here.
Does this happen with both sides ?
Can you try with MIDIOX or similar application or another dj software to see if there is a hardware fault ?
