I have a question for the dev team on tools / software used to create / encode mapper (definition file / mapper file) of the new integrated controller has as in virtual dj?

What are the tools and or software used by the dev team to define the midi notes (definition / Mapper) of the new controller that it adds in virtual dj?
I imagine that it should not also use a simple XML editor for the Mapper and the miditrace style software to set the midi notes , the colours of the LEDs etc... ???
