Topic: High Mid Low knobs not working

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I just upgraded to virtual dj 8 and the eq knobs don't seem to effect the sound even though they are moving on the screen. How do I fix this? I have a American Audio VMS2 controller.

You have a hardware mixer built in to your controller. The hardware controls the EQ. The software EQ is not required and is set to 'fake'.

If you want to hear the EQ in your headphones when cueing then you need to set the relevant option in config.
