Topic: Problem With VMS2

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

This may seem a bit weird but my vms2 worked perfect up until last weekend at my gig.. I could mix and all the buttons (play, pause, cue etc) worked but i only had my cue in 1 side of my headphones.. I changed headphones still had the same issue.. Could this be a config setting issue or a bad headphone jack.. I have had the same issue on 3 computers 2 with windows 8.1 and 1 with windows 7. Any idea's

Just a side note, I also only had the master on 1 side of my headphones as well.

What Version of VDJ are you using? And what does your soundconfig look like?

I have tried it on both version 7 and 8, config is external mixer with the vms 2 soundcard. It has always been setup that way and never had an issue

Most likely its a hardware issue. You can still try with auxiliary sources and without any software running, since the VMS2 is a analogue dj mixer as well, to make sure its not related to any software setting.

so if it is a hardware issue then it has nothing to do with my vdj, so either I can use it as is or find something new to use? correct...

I have a VMS4.1 and I use the analog in on channel 1 to plug in external devices (Drum machine)... As mentioned, see if external devices still work properly.
