Hey Guys!

I mixed these two songs probably at the end of 2004, when I just started DJing... so i was 13 yrs old.

i made these on a terribly slow computer so there is a tiny bit of laggy kind of stuff going on sometimes.

they are simple but cool! im very proud of them considering my age and crap computer :)

This one was made with that annoying "Blow Your Whistle" song and a prank phone call by good old Tom Baker (the Dr Who with the long scarf... you know the one!)

and this one is another Dr Who song, although you wouldnt really realise. This song proves wrong all the people that complain that the defalt samples you get with VDJ are "crappy" and "you cant do anything with them"

Great mix! As soon as I get VDJ I was planning on making a mix like dis jus NOT AS LONG! How long did it take u 2 do dis jus out a curiosity? Oh yea, just for advice, what type of strategy do you use 4 song transition? I've had a knack 4 makin my blends start wit either an instrumental or an acapella which has helped me create easier transitions. Jus wondered if u could give me some advice on dat.









I don't know if u got my email but I asked u if u wanted 2 hear any other blends I've made. I would really like to get some advice n tips from a pro.

DJ Derrick E hosted a mix I made. U can find it in the "mix lessons" section of the Forums page. It's on the post "Gettin some opinions". listen n tell me what u think. I've only been playin around wit free trials every now n then, this is only my second year after getting into DJing so be sure to use terms anyone would know 4 my sake, haven't really been big on "tech terms yet. :)









N by da way advice from u would help also I'm just tryin to get a hold of DJ Derrick E to host em 4 me.

Send them my way Shyine. I'll put them up for you. (The remixes that is.) I've been busy the past few days. Just got married and things are crazy. I use many different ways to blend different songs together. That mix took me about a week to finish. I could've done it in a day, but I'm so busy I end up working on it pieces at a time. I use a combination of acapellas, instrumentals. It depends on the song. Use whatever works best for the song and for you Shyine. Play around with different combos, and don't be afraid to do something a little different. I blew the project file away on accident and had to start the mix all over again! I'm glad you all like the mix! Check out my other mixes on my website. I have all kinds from Hip-Hop to House.
