Topic: Map a MIDI button to toggle sampler?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am trying to use the Simple MIDI wrapper in Virtual DJ 7 to map buttons on my M-Audio Trigger finger to trigger the 12 samplers. The buttons on the Trigger Finger show up as (9-17) - (9-37). I am able map them to start the samplers, but not stop them.

Is it some syntax using 'toggle' within the Action dialogue? I could not figure it out no matter how hard I tried. Thanks in advance.

You should use the following command:
sampler play_stop and not "sampler play"
