Topic: cut effect not on beat

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

i used the 'cut' effect in vdj7 and it always cut on beat but when i switched to 8, it's no longer the case. don't get me wrong, i hit the button the right time 3 times out of 5 and the cut is on beat, but how can i edit the cut configuration file so that it cuts on beat?

here is what my cut configuration file looks like right now:

[autoparams]
Switch Mute beat 2=0
Slider Cut length 3=4095
String Status 4=Cut length: 1 beat
