Hello! just bought the pioneer djm 900. So i have 2 cdi 2000's and the pioneer djm900. May some one assist me with a walkthrough on how i can connect them all together with my macbook pro. Previously i had connected with the djm 800 but i wasnt able to get the volume faders of the mixer to work with with the software.(virtual dj 8). I had to change a song and manually use the faders from my laptops virtual dj 8 software to reduce the volume. I will appreciate any assistant i can get. I am due to play next friday and saturday. If u can get back to me as soon as possible i will appreciate it.

DJM800 doesn't have a soundcard. You might have been using the soundcard of your CDJ2000s (both must be connected with a USB cable on your Mac) . The RCA or digital outputs of these should be connected to your mixer (select cd/line or digital).
DJM900 has a built in soundcard (driver install might be required).
You could use this soundcard even without the CDJs if you want i.e. Timecode/Turntables.
And don't wish or expect the display to mirror the action of your faders.
Your using Pro Gear... hands and eyes on your board!
Goodluck!
Here's a Youtube video done on Windows but I'm sure you'll get the idea.
