Can someone tell me if it is possible to use the same music files and hard drive for both VDJ and Serato DJ? Basically, is there any conflict if I take the same hard drive I use for Virtual and used it with Serato DJ? I am a VDJ user at heart but on occasion, installed systems at some venues I play would be easier to manage if I just ran Serato. Would there be any conflict with databases, cue points, etc. Thanks.

Shouldn't be, they're separate databases, as long as the tracks stay in the location (you move the track path with either software and the other will lose it)
*Side note* VDJ will read serato cues and set the the V8 cues as a clone if you want it to.
