I have VDJ 8 installed on both my MAC and PC and regularly accept the updates on both machines until now. The PC version now displays just a blank window with a small portion of the interface visible in the top left corner and has rendered the entire software completely useless. Without reinstalling the software and disabling the updates I cannot see any other way round this and that would mean missing out on any important updates that might improve my experience. I am running Windows 8.1 and have downloaded the latest graphics drivers but to no avail. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated!

There are some tools in one of the posts above yours which might help.
However they did not help me with my Win7 graphics problem.

have you tried making a backup of and then deleting settings.xml
