are there no sound effects available for download on the add-ons page? i'm trying to find a cut/gater that i used in vdj7 but is not working with 8.

I've been told that renaming cut.dll to cut1.dll it will work with V8,however you be better off looking for a VST as there are thousands of gate VSTs out there.
