Hi, I've got a mixtrack quad, and have got the VDJ8 single controller license for it. I want to sell the mixtrack and upgrade to antithetical controller. Can I transfer the single license to someone else if they buy it from me?

In a word, no.

For me it's not a smart decision to not make a LE license transferable.
I bought a Pioneer Ergo second hand for my son. I could not register the software (VDJ 7 LE) on the forum, because it was registered by the original user. I lost my cd-rom, so when he got a new computer, we didn't have any software for the Ergo. My son grew up and now uses Serato with all his gear. (Serato light was a free download when you have an Ergo, and he liked it)
I bought a Novation launchpad S second hand. I also could not register the Ableton light because the license key was already used. I sent two simple mails, one to Ableton and one to Novation. A few hours later I received a new key from Ableton and a second from Novation. I have now one serial number I don't use. If I like it, I'll buy a full license.

He is not talking about a "LE" version.
OP is asking if he can transfer a "PLUS" controller license.
According to EULA, no he can't.
