So i have a windows 8 touch screen laptop to start. And on my old windows 7 vdj7 machine virtual dj would open every time looking the way i left it in regaurds to the browser mainly. Now every time i open vdj8 all the browser info is reset and the skin. It is realy annoying having to add key and harmonic and bpm every time i open vdj.

Seems like a Property issue to me. So VirtualDJ 8 cant write/access to the setting.xml file. Right-click on the /VirtualDJ folder and make sure you give read/write (full) permissions to the current used User. (i would advise to add Full permission to "everyone" just to be sure).
