Topic: setting for cueing in another deck

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have tried all settings. I use djio with a numark mixtrack 2. I currently have it set as master-djio asio-1&2 then ,headphones-realtek-3&4....... this is the ONLY combination where i can cue the next deck. My problem is , whether pfl is on or not, i can still hear both decks in my headphones while plugged into my laptop headphone port. How can i fix this?

Yes, you should use the DJIO for both master and headphones.

When you have an interface like the DJIO which is designed for DJing, there's no need to use your internal audio interface at all.

This should be clear from the instructions provided in the DJIO manual, which tell/show you how to configure things.

There's also info here http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/DJIO.html

Ok i set it up according to suggestions. Djio outputs 1-2 to speakers. 3-4 not used. In interface i used 1-2 as master and 3-4 as headphones. I plugged headphobes into djio headphone oitput. Still same thing.
