Topic: Forum slow and hanging a lot

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Been intermittent the past few weeks but it's really bad tonight. When clicking on the forum it sometimes responds instantly but often takes 4 or 5 seconds to react. does this on my PC with broadband and also on my phone with 3G

The site's been pretty slow the past few weeks for me.
Maybe because of all the bug reporting...
 
 
I been holding off about page being slow.

I thought it might be my system so, I waited until someone else say something about it.

Yes, Its been weird for this whole week for me.

Not everytime you click on a thread or link, but say 3/10 times... it's like the webserver needs a couple of seconds to think about your request...
 
seems to be fixed. Its running great now.

Now lets go back to squashing bugs :)

looks like Atomix needs to upgrade their servers.... this is definitely not an internet speed issue and it has been happening for quite some time now.
 
I'm thinkin' Locodog has it right. Couple weeks ago all my internet access seemed to slow down. But now it's sporadic, sometimes good, sometimes slow. But that's for all the net, not just VDJ. Plus, there is alot of conversation here now and I doubt the servers are set up as a social media site.:-)
