Can anyone tell me how to do what i said in the title so when i press my mic, the music will fade to about 50% volume

How fast a fade? and you mean the mic button on the skin right?
*edit* whatever button you mean be it skin or controller, a script something like this might do, (It's a press and hold for 1 second script)
mic & repeat 50ms & level 50% ? nothing : level -2.5%

when you press the 'mic' button on the skin layout, and a fairly fast fade

That will fade smooth in 1 second
To get it to work in with the skin press needs either a custom button or some skin editing.
