I'm looking for a cheap DJ headphones suitable for a beginner. Which one do you recommend? So far I found Numark HF125 to be pretty decent and cheap, are they the best bang for the buck?

With headphones, you generally get what you pay for. Even for a beginner, I would recommend that you spend around $50.00 on a pair of headphones. (You can get a decent mid-range pair for that price.)

My headphones of choice are Sony V700's, however they were about $200.00 a pair and are no longer made. More recently, I've been using A&H XD53's. (However, these are again, more professional and would be overkill for a beginner.)

1+ for the Redwaves.

Unfortunately they don't ship Monoprice to my country. Red Waves are about 50 € here, which is about 3x more expensive than Numark HF125.

The cheapest would be from amazon.co.uk, which would cost Payment Total: EUR 35,75.

Maybe I can get second hand Sennheiser HD 205 II DJ for 30 €, perhaps you know how they compare to Monoprice?

You can pretty much guarantee that any Sennheiser headphones will be worth the money.

Sensational synonymous Sennheiser!
